Mary began her professional career in accounting and tax practice with Capital B Consult, an accounting and tax advisory firm, where she developed strong practical experience in tax compliance, financial reporting support, and advisory services for businesses and individuals. She subsequently advanced her career in public-sector tax administration, serving with both the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), where she gained significant exposure to tax regulation, revenue administration, compliance frameworks, and statutory enforcement processes.

Her experience within government revenue authorities provides her with a unique perspective on taxation, enabling her to guide clients through complex regulatory environments with clarity and confidence. She combines technical knowledge with practical insight, helping organisations manage tax obligations efficiently while maintaining compliance with evolving statutory requirements.

Mary further expanded her professional expertise through experience in the United Kingdom, thereby strengthening her exposure to international accounting practices, regulatory systems, and modern approaches to economic management.
